This is a prime example of how to take a really unpopular grape and turn it into something wonderful. Bursting with red fruit, it gives into little forest notes towards the finish.

Vinification
After the bunches were de-stemmed and pressed, the juice was fermenting spontaneously in open wooden vats for 2 weeks. Then, the wine was transferred to 350l Zemplén oak barrels, where it aged on the lees for 4-6 months. Has been bottled unfined, unfiltered without the addition of SO2. This vintage produced wines of outstanding quality.
